French toast - recipe

This is a recipe we love because it's very easy and delicious. Apparently it is of Hungarian origin and it's called Bundas Kenyer.

Ingredients:
  • 500 grams of sliced bread
  • 2 eggs
  • 300 - 400 ml of milk
  • 50 - 100 ml of sunflower oil

Put the milk in a soup plate, and beat the eggs in another one.

Moist the bread slices in the milk, then in the egg.

When the oil is hot, add the bread. It will be ready very fast, so don't go too far. Drain well on kitchen paper. You can serve it with jam and milk, or as it is.

Bon Appétit !
